What we'd love to hear about

• Real bills with real retailers. These are the single most useful kind of feedback - they let us check the calculator's estimate lands in the right ballpark for a specific household.
• Wattages that look wrong. Our appliance data comes from Consumer NZ, EECA and manufacturer rating plates, but appliances vary. If you have a meter reading that disagrees with our default, send it through.
• Regions we're missing. We cover 40+ locations from the MBIE QSDEP; if yours is missing or grouped awkwardly, let us know.
• Calculation bugs. If a number seems off, tell us what you entered and what you expected - we'll reproduce it.
• Retailer quirks. Unusual plan structures (peak-window surcharges, capacity-based tariffs) that the calculator handles clumsily.

What we can't help with

We're not a power retailer and we're not affiliated with any of them. We can't look up your account, change your plan, or resolve a billing dispute. For those:

• Your retailer's customer service is the first stop.
• Utilities Disputes is the free independent scheme for unresolved complaints.
• Powerswitch (Consumer NZ) is the best place to compare plans.

Response times

This is a side project. We typically reply within a few days. Technical issues and obvious data errors get priority.
